Honeymoon Island's isolated beach is the perfect venue for sun-bathing, swimming and shelling

Honeymoon Island’s tropical setting, sun-drenched beaches and abundant flora and fauna have always made this barrier island a much-desired getaway. Originally given its name as a vacation spot for newlyweds, Honeymoon Island now attracts nature enthusiasts and vacationers alike with its variety of ecotours and scenic coastal setting.

Honeymoon Island offers miles of nature trails and a diversity of plant and animal life

Honeymoon Island offers a number of activities. Visitors can explore trails that wind through breathtaking natural communities, observe the island’s diversity of birds from several observation points, and enjoy swimming, fishing, and snorkeling in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, Honeymoon provides several tours and programs to offer a more in-depth look at the island’s natural communities and plant and animal life.

Honeymoon's serene location gives you the opportunity to relax in a beautiful coastal setting
